"Toll Road Feasibility"

As the traditional method or funding of transportation infrastructure via the gas tax become less effective over time, transportation officials are searching for innovative solutions. One option is toll roads. Toll roads represent a direct user-fee much like any other commodity in the market place. Just like every venture, toll roads and toll road authorities must have a sound business model, and an instrumental element is the toll road feasibility analysis. This presentation will walk through the steps of a toll feasibility analysis including estimating toll revenue potential and the development of operations and maintenance expenses and the capital costs of construction.
