"A Cost-Plus-Time Bidding Procedure"
The Town of Addison has used an innovative alternative bidding procedure for the past five years. Several other municipalities in the Dallas area have also adopted this approach. A+B bidding is a cost-plus-time bidding procedure that selects the lowest bidder based on a monetary combination of the contract bid items (A) and the time (B) needed to complete the project.
