Engineer’s Day at the Children’s Museum
On Saturday, February 18th, ASCE Younger Members will help volunteer at the Children’s Museum for Engineer Day.  Volunteers will have the opportunity to help kids with several different math and science-related activities.  All members are welcome to join for this valuable experience. Please contact Natalie Chaney (natalie.chaney@urs.com) with any questions.
 
2012 E2-Engineering Excellence Competition
The E2-Engineering Excellence Competition is looking for judges and general volunteers for preliminary and finals competitions. The E2 Competition is designed to provide elementary through high school students with an opportunity to demonstrate their problem-solving skills, research and presentation skills, and their practical application of math, science and technology.  The top 10 winners from each education level (elementary, middle and high school) from the Preliminary competition on February 4, 2012 will advance to the final round of competition on February 18, 2012. ASCE Houston Branch Golf Tournament
The 12th Annual ASCE Houston Branch Golf Tournament will be  held at the Tradition Course at Cypresswood Golf Course on Friday, May 4th. Registration is open - please see the Golf Tournament Registration Page.
 


AIA Sandcastle Competition - June 2012
Save the date – the AIA Sandcastle competition  will be held on the first Saturday of June (June 2nd).
 
The ASCE Houston Branch team will have several planning meetings to form our team and prepare for the Sandcastle Competition.   Our first planning meeting will be held soon.
