Responsibilities of a Region Project Consultant include:
Project Consultants work closely with engineering consultants, developers, government officials and contractors in providing engineering expertise and problem-solving advice.
Responsibilities include identifying and developing all territory potential, conducting technical presentations, performing analysis and specification development, and building project pipeline.
Project consultant works from project concept to project bid at which point they support the CONTECH Sales Engineering Team in closing the product sale.

Experience
· Qualified candidates will have engineering or construction industry experience, and a desire to work closely with other professionals providing technical expertise.
· A Civil Engineering or related degree. (Emphasis on Geotechnical engineering)
· Previous sales experience is not necessary, but preferred.
· Great opportunity for an engineer who has been working in the consulting field, who is looking for a new direction in their career that provides more variety and interaction with people.
· Candidate must reside in a centrally located area with respect to assigned territory. (Austin or Houston preferred)
Skills
Preferred Skills:
· Civil Engineering degree
· Presentation and public speaking skills
· Sound time management and organizational skills
· Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, ACT!, etc.)
