September 2007 Branch Meeting

The September 2007 Houston Branch Meeting was very busy. We had two technical speakers, Michael Martin from Jacobs, Edwards & Kelcey who presented the Aggie Field of Honor in College Station, and Mike McEvilly from Helix Energy Solutions who who presented the Independence Hub Project in the Gulf of Mexico. Our main speaker was ASCE National President-Elect David Mongan. Your new Houston Branch Board for 2007-2008 was sworn in by Mr. Mongan. This meeting also had numerous awards presented. Brian Manning won the Houston Branch Award of Honor and HCTRA was presented the 2007 Texas Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award.
